Lucius AI started with a narrow conviction: when the stakes are high and the rules are strict, AI has to show its evidence. That conviction became a compliance-first tender intelligence platform that reads tender packs page by page, flags the risks that sink bids, and drafts responses grounded in a bidder's own material.
Today we are sharing the next step for the company. Lucius AI Systems is expanding with Praex, an AI copartner platform that spans a command line interface, mobile, and the web, powered by self-hosted open models running on Google Cloud.
What Praex is
Where Lucius AI is a specialist, Praex is a partner. It is being built as one assistant that works with you across the surfaces where work actually happens, from the terminal to your pocket to the browser. Running our own open models end to end gives us direct control over how the platform behaves and evolves, rather than renting a black box.
Praex is early. The platform is in active development and has not yet publicly launched. The landing page and waitlist are live today at praex.ai.
What this means for Lucius AI
Nothing changes. Lucius AI continues on ailucius.com as the compliance-first way to analyse tenders and build submissions, and it remains in active development; the drafting engine, the matching feed, and the evidence exports have all shipped improvements this month. Praex is a second product under the same company, not a replacement for the first.
The two share a belief more than a codebase: AI you rely on for serious work should be accountable for what it says. In tendering that means page-cited evidence. In a copartner it means models you can inspect and control.
If an AI copartner you can take from terminal to phone sounds like your kind of tool, add your name to the waitlist at praex.ai. We will have more to share soon.
